For a single family home/townhome, it can be estimated that the cost of furnishing is $6,000 base cost plus $2,500 per bedroom. For example, a single family home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (a very popular layout in the U.S.) would cost roughly $13,500 to furnish.
